Getting a loan

Payment waiver is an optional product that covers that unforeseen event such as: accident, illness, redundancy or death. When an event happens the payments under your contract will be waived, within agreed limits, if all conditions are met. The cost of Payment Waiver is included in the repayments for the full term of the loan, if you have bought this product. It is your choice as to the level of Payment Waiver best suits you, so that your repayments will be covered if anything happens.

Protecta Insurance supply our mechanical breakdown insurance. This product is optional and can be included within your loan.
The cover is for your vehicle on any unexpected mechanical or electrical problem
This cover includes AA Roadservice, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including accommodation and transport if you need to get to where you are going.

Mechanical & Electrical Repair:

This cover is for that unforeseen breakdown not general maintenance or wear and tear on the vehicle.

24 Hour AA Roadservice:

This service is only a phone call away and covers everything from flat battery or tyre, lack of fuel or locked yourself out to the tow of your vehicle to the nearest service centre.

Accommodation or transport:

If it takes longer than 24 hours to repair your vehicle (and you are more than 100 kms from home), accommodation or vehicle hire will be provided (maximum limit applies) Towing:

Covers the cost of towing your vehicle to the nearest service centre. Claim Limit:

There is no limit to the number of claims that can be made during the period of the policy, though there will be a limit to the amount paid in any one claim. Making a Claim:

Call 0800 PROTECT (776 832) if you need to make a claim. You will need your Certificate of Insurance to provide policy number so confirmation is received to go ahead with repairs.
